Fostering

We are a foster based organization in the highest kill county in the DMV so every foster home is extremely important to our mission. We are able to provide whatever supplies and cat care guidance you might need. We will also ensure that foster cats in your care are appropriate for your skill level and home environment.

cat trapping

We can never have enough people willing to help trap the free roaming cats in Prince George's County. We can provide the necessary training and supplies to help humanely and safely trap them for their trip to the vet. These cats will be assessed for health and behavior. Feral cats will be spayed, vaccinated and released while friendly or sick kitties will enter our adoption program.

EVENTS

We hold bingo nights at breweries and adoption events at several supportive businesses in the community. We would love the support of outgoing, cat crazy people that can help spread the message of TNR and who have a knack for marketing. Transporting

Have a car and a desire to help kitties? We can use your help! We often need assistance bringing kitties to and from the vet clinic. We also need help picking up feral kitties at the county shelter and releasing them back to their colonies. We are happy to provide materials to keep your car clean and kitty-smell free.

Data Entry

Maybe you don’t have a car or do have a cat allergy (or an angry kitty that won’t tolerate a foster) but you have a desire to help. With the miracle of Google docs you can assist our organization virtually, right from home! There are no tricky databases to learn, just a basic understanding of Excel. You will be rewarded with cute kitten videos.

Food Bank

We are attempting to create the only food bank for outdoor cats in Prince George's County. We are looking for volunteers that can help organize giveaways and solicit donations and vet participants. No amount of effort is too small for this project. If you love your Buy Nothing group and are willing to get every free, un-opened bag of cat food.. let’s talk!! We accept any supplies, un-opened and non-expired food, cat toys, litter, etc. and pass these goods on to community cat caretakers in need.
